Zusammenfassung
Die Literaturübersicht widmet sich der Untersuchung des Kenntnisstandes von Hausärzten
auf dem Gebiet der Palliativmedizin und der Effektivität von Fortbildungsprogrammen.
Die bisher durchgeführten empirischen Studien zu diesem Thema belegen weiterhin bestehende
Kenntnisdefizite und das Erfordernis entsprechender kontinuierlicher Weiterbildung.
Weiterbildungsprogramme, überwiegend aus dem englischsprachigen Raum, werden hier
dargestellt.
Summary
This literature review reflects the knowledge of general practitioners in palliative
care and the efficacy of continuous medical education. Empirical studies have showed
a lack of experience and knowledge of GP's and have emphasized the need of further
education. Educational programmes from English spoken countries are shown.
