Abstract
Pelvic and acetabulum fractures are rare, but severe injuries with a high rate of complications and disability. The common treatment with large surgical approaches leads to additional soft tissue damage. New computer assisted methods often allow to operate more gently and minimally-invasively. In this article we present the principle of registration free CT-based navigation in pelvic and acetabular fracture fixation.
