Psychiatrische Relevanz von Stalking

Zusammenfassung

Anliegen: Überblick zur Relevanz des Stalkingkonzeptes für die Psychiatrie und das Gesundheitswesen. Ergebnisse: Die Lebenszeitprävalenz von Stalking ist hoch und die gesundheitlichen Folgen für die von Stalking Betroffenen sind teilweise erheblich. Schlussfolgerung: Ärzte werden sich zukünftig stärker mit dem Problem Stalking auseinander setzen müssen.

Abstract

Aims: To provide an overview on the psychiatric significance of stalking and the implications for the health care system. Results: Stalking is a widespread phenomenon and can result in significant health care problems. Conclusion: In the future physicians will have to deal with this problem in a professional manner.
