Abstract

The authors review the new technique of mucosectomy with endoscopic submucosal dissection in the colon. The discussion includes: indication of the method as well as special technical problems, basic principles (e. g. electrosurgical knifes), description of the procedure (mucosal injection, submucosal injection), limitations and the success rate, complications and safety.
