Endoskopische Resektion einer großen Tumormasse im Ösophagus mit Hilfe des Insulated-Tip Diathermy Knife

Zusammenfassung

Das Insulated-Tip Diathermy Knife wurde erstmals zur endoskopischen Mukosa-Resektion eines Magenfrühkarzinomes vorgestellt und kürzlich auch im Rahmen der Resektion eines großen gestielten Kolonpolypen [1] [2]. Wir beschreiben hier den Fall einer großen intraösophageal gelegenen Tumormasse mit vollständiger Obstruktion des Ösophagus und ihre endoskopische Resektion.

Abstract

The insulated-tip diathermy knife (IT knife) was introduced for the endoscopic mucosal resection of early gastric cancer and recently for the endoscopic resection of a large pedunculated colonic polyp [1] [2]. We describe a case of a giant tumor mass obstructing the esophagus and its successful resection with the IT knife.
