Wichtige Konzepte Bions und Gedanken zur Balint-Gruppenarbeit

Zusammenfassung

Anhand der Gruppentheorien und einiger Denkansätze von W.R. Bion wird in dieser Arbeit beleuchtet, wie über den Weg der Balint-Gruppenarbeit in der Arzt-Patienten-Beziehung anstelle eines Modus des „Reagierens” und damit des Mitagierens der Modus eines genuinen „Antwortens” auf den Patienten gesetzt werden kann. „Antworten” auf den Patienten wird hierbei verstanden als ein ganzheitliches Eingehen des Arztes auf seinen Patienten über eine bloße „Interaktion” hinaus. Im Modus des Antwortens auf den Patienten ist die Fähigkeit wirksam, „eigene Gedanken” zu denken und in der Arzt-Patienten-Beziehung nicht verstrickt zu sein in Projektionen, Manipulationen oder auch Auslassungen.

Abstract

This paper shows, using ideas on group functioning and some other theories of W.R. Bion, how Balint Group Work can activate a response model instead of a reaction model in the doctor/patient relationship. The response model is understood as going beyond a mere interaction with the patient, as the doctor can go into particulars with the patient. Having as a whole activated the model of response there is an ability to think one's own thoughts instead of being entangled with projections, manipulations or e. g. omissions.

2 Für psychische Störungen konzeptualisierte Bion auch -K als Nicht-Wissen (-Wollen/Können). Eine spezifische Definition von -L und -H gibt Bion nicht, wiewohl er betont, dass -L nicht gleich H sei [20]. - Eine Vertiefung der gedanklichen Problematik um die von Bion bewusst gewählten Zeichen mit offen bleibendem Inhalt würde den Rahmen dieser Arbeit sprengen.
