Bei den Pflegenden auf Wochenbettstationen fehlt oft ein umfassendes Verständnis für die psychischen Veränderungen und Übergangsprozesse, welche insbesondere die Erstgebärenden durchlaufen.

Dieser Hintergrund lieferte die Fragen für eine qualitative Studie: Welche Erfahrungen machen erstgebärende Frauen in der frühen postnatalen Phase und wie erleben sie den Klinikaufenthalt? Welche Erwartungen haben diese Frauen an die Betreuung?
