Abstract
[1,2,5]Thiadiazolo[3,4-f ][1,10]phenanthroline was prepared using a straightforward and efficient methodology, in four steps, starting from phenanthroline. This compound was fully characterized by mass spectrometry, IR, UV, 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopy, and its structure was determined by X-ray crystallography.
Key words
heterocyclic - 1,10-phenanthrolines - X-ray crystal structure
