Abstract
Aminations of aryl halides were conducted under fast copper-bis(cyclohexanone) oxalyldihydrazone catalysis in pure water with both temperature-controlled microwave heating and traditional heating. With a reaction time of five minutes under microwave heating at 130 °C or at reflux for 10 hours, both electron-rich and electron-deficient aryl halides reacted with various amines to provide fair to good yields of the corresponding anilines.
