Kasuistik interaktiv: Polytrauma nach Verkehrsunfall - Präklinische und frühe klinische Versorgung

Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über die präklinische und frühe klinische Versorgung eines 30jährigen Patienten, der nach einem schweren Verkehrsunfall als Fahrer eines Pkw eingeklemmt vorgefunden wurde. Der Fall wird Schritt für Schritt unter besonderer Beachtung diagnostischer, therapeutischer und einsatzstrategischer Überlegungen dargestellt. Kontroversen in der Notfall- und frühen klinischen Versorgung von Patienten mit kombiniertem Thorax- und Abdominaltrauma werden anhand aktueller Literatur diskutiert.

We report the case of a 30 year old driver of a car who was jammed after a severe traffic accident. In a step-by-step description of the out-of-hospital and early clinical management of the patient, the case report focuses on diagnostic, therapeutic, and strategic issues. Current controversies in the management of patients with combined thoracic and abdominal trauma are discussed in the light of recent literature.
