Bronchogenic Cyst Invading Right Atrium in a 5-Year-Old

Introduction

Bronchogenic cysts arise from an abnormal budding of the ventral diverticulum of the foregut or the tracheobronchial tree during embryogenesis and are most commonly primary cysts of the mediastinum [1]. Primary bronchogenic cysts of cardiac origin or extension are rare [2], [3]. We report here on a 5-year-old girl with bronchogenic cyst extending to the right atrial wall.
