In the original article the addition mode of the reaction given in Scheme 1 had been misinterpreted as normal 1,4-addition. Therefore the structure of compound 3 shown in Scheme 1 was incorrect. Further investigation, which was stimulated by Gandelman and Jacobsen,1 revealed that a different product 3 is received. Below the correct Scheme 1 is shown.

The structure of product 3a was ascertained by recent single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
