Introduction

Colonic duplications are rare and only a few cases have been reported in the literature. The anatomy varies greatly, and associated anomalies are common. A fistula between the duplicated colon and the genitourinary system is present in more than 50 % of patients [7]. The initial surgical treatment depends on where the normal colon and the duplication end. The surgical options are reviewed here together with the presentation of a case.
