Zusammenfassung
Phänomenologisch lassen sich die verschiedenen Formen des Keratokonus in Gruppen einteilen
wie globaler, ovaler oder kreisförmiger und kuppeiförmiger Keratokonus. Anhand von
Kontaktlinsen-Fluoreszenzbildern werden Beispiele dieser verschiedenen Formen gezeigt.
Die morphologische Erscheinungsform eines Keratokonus kann durch meßbare Parameter
quantifiziert werden. Solche Parameter sind: Ort und Durchmesser der prominentesten
Hornhautstelle sowie Ort und Durchmesser der dünnsten Hornhautstelle, Hauptmeridiandifferenzen
der keratokonisch betroffenen Hornhaut sowie Scheiteltiefenunterschied der prominentesten
Hornhautstelle zur Hornhautperipherie. Diese Parameter werden bei den Beispielen der
verschiedenen Keratokonusformen mit gezeigt.
Summary
The different appearances of keratoconus may be classified as global, circular, or
dome-shaped. Examples of these different types are presented in the form of contact
lens fluorescein photographs. The morphological appearance of a keratoconus can be
defined by measurable parameters such as location and diameter of the most prominent
part of the cornea; location and diameter of the thinnest part of the cornea; differences
in K-readings of the keratoconically affected cornea; and mature differences in the
arrow height between the apex of the cone and the surrounding cornea. These parameters
are illustrated with examples of different types of keratoconus.
