ABSTRACT
The Author outlines that the form of a nose can define a character and a personality. This is confirmed not only by various linguistic phenomena but also by many examples met during an amusing journey in literature. Hypotheses and ideas are here offered to the surgeon to pause and consider all the intricate implications when his scalpel reconstructs noses of perfect proportions.
