Mobile Stroke Units verbessern das Outcome von Schlaganfallpatienten
Je schneller ein Schlaganfall behandelt wird, desto höher ist die Chance auf ein behinderungsfreies Überleben [1] [2]. Mit einer mobilen Stroke Unit (MSU) kann die Therapie prähospital begonnen werden [3]. Die BEST-MSU-Studie in den USA und die B_PROUD-Studie in Berlin haben nun gezeigt, dass das MSU-Konzept zu einem verbesserten klinischen Outcome führt.
