Diese Empfehlung betrifft die vor, während und nach der Geburt hinsichtlich sinnvoller kurativer und palliativer Therapieziele bei Frühgeborenen an der Grenze der Lebensfähigkeit zu treffenden Entscheidungen. Sie richtet sich an alle Berufsgruppen, die Schwangere vor und während der Geburt, Neugeborene und deren Eltern betreuen. Sie kann auch betroffenen Angehörigen als Hilfestellung dienen.
