A Homoeopathy-Managed Case of Labial Mucocele
A 5-year-old girl presented with painless swelling on the inner aspect of the lower lip for 3 months with difficulty in chewing. On examination, a round, solitary, firm and pearly asymptomatic nodule on the inner aspect of the left side of labial mucosa was revealed. The swelling was 3 to 4 mm below the vermilion border of the lower lip and measuring ∼2.5 mm. ([Fig. 1]) The patient had a positive history of lip biting. It was diagnosed by dermatologist as labial mucocele.

Remedy selected: Calcarea fluorica 30C was prescribed once daily for 15 days followed by placebo three times daily for 2 months.

After 15 days, Calcarea fluorica 30C was continued for another one and the half months ([Fig. 2]).

After 2 months Calcarea fluorica 30C was stopped and only placebo was continued for 2 months ([Fig. 3]).

After 4 months: Disappearance of labial mucocele ([Fig. 4]).
