Zusammenfassung

Schließmuskelersatzoperationen sind eine neue Therapieoption in der Behandlung der sonst therapierefraktären anorektalen Inkontinenz. Der Ersatz erfolgt durch eine elektrisch stimulierte Skelettmuskeltransposition, vorzugsweise des Musculus gracilis, oder durch einen künstlichen Schließmuskel. Beide Verfahren sind teuer und komplikationsträchtig. Eine Kontinenzverbesserung gelingt in 60 - 70 %.

Abstract

Anal sphincter replacement offers a new treatment option for patients with severe refractory fecal incontinence. The procedures are electrically stimulated skeletal muscle neosphincter, using especially the gracilis muscle and artificial anal sphincter. Both operations are expensive and can produce many complications. The success rate is 60 - 70 %.
