Zusammenfassung

Viele neurologische Erkrankungen sind primär autoimmunvermittelt oder entstehen als Komplikationen systemischer Autoimmunerkrankungen. Hierzu zählen insbesondere die entzündlichen Gefäßerkrankungen, paraneoplastische Syndrome sowie inflammatorische Neuropathien und Myositiden. Der Beitrag gibt eine Übersicht über die Möglichkeiten der Bestimmung von Autoantikörpern sowie eine Anleitung für deren rationalen Einsatz.

Abstract

Many neurologic disorders are autoimmune-mediated or occur as secondary complications of systemic autoimmune diseases. The most frequent disorders are inflammatory vasculopathies, paraneoplastic syndromes, as well as inflammatory neuropathies and muscular disorders. The article presents an overview of the possibilities in laboratory diagnostics of autoimmune disorders in neurology and tries to provide a rational approach for their clinical use.
