Bewegungsangebote in der Praxis
Physical activity in the doctor’s officeRegelmäßige körperliche Bewegung hat vielfältige positive gesundheitliche Effekte.
Abstract
Regular physical activity has multiple positive health effects. Sports and exercise are, beside healthy food, recommended in national and international guidelines for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Despite the health advantages, only 45 % of the grown ups in Germany perform physical activity in an sufficient extent. Even the diagnosis of diabetes does not lead to more activity. This article demonstrates the possibilities in Germany to help people with diabetest to increase their physical activity.
