Blankoverordnung – sind wir schon bereit?

Seit über zwei Jahrzehnten fordern verschiedene Interessensgruppen für die Physiotherapie in Deutschland mehr Berufsautonomie, eine stärkere Professionalisierung und erweiterte Handlungskompetenzen, um nur einige Aspekte zu nennen, die Gegenstand der berufspolitischen Diskussionen im Kontext internationale Entwicklungen sind [1] [2]. Eine stärkere bzw. vollständige Akademisierung der Physiotherapeut*innen in Deutschland, nach dem Vorbild anderer Länder, wie der Schweiz, den Niederlanden oder Frankreich, wurde dabei oft als fehlende Voraussetzung angeführt, die für eine Erweiterung der Autonomie und der Handlungskompetenzen zwingend nötig scheint [3] [4].
