Significance
Copper ferrite (CuFe2O4) nanoparticles catalyzed the three-component coupling of aldehydes 1, amines 2, and alkynes 3 to give the corresponding propargylamines 4 in up to 91% yield (17 examples). The catalyst was magnetically recovered and reused twice without significant loss of the catalytic activity.
