Investigation of Transannelation Reactions Across a Cyclononene Ring

Abstract
Bicyclic molecules that resemble natural product substructures were synthesised via transannelation reactions across a nine-membered ring. The products of the transannelation reactions were dependent upon the conformation of the nine-membered ring and the interatomic distances between reacting atoms.
