Significance

The use of alkenylstannes as nucleophiles in metal-catalyzed asymmetric conjugate additions can provide several advantages over other pronucleophiles in terms of functional group tolerance and ease of preparation. The authors report the first examples of enantioselective conjugate additions of alkenylstannanes.
