Significance

A five-step continuous-flow synthesis of (+)-dumetorine 7 was described. A novel PEG-supported Hoveyda catalyst 10 was applied in the ring-closing metathesis, which was reused six times without significant loss of its catalytic ­activity in the model reaction.
