Radical Alkylphosphanylation of Olefins

Significance

In this work, the first radical alkyl­phosphanylation reaction of activated olefins, such as α,β-unsaturated esters, amides, imides, nitriles and sulfones is described. This reaction uses Me₃SnPPh₂ and Me₃SiPPh₂ as trapping and chain-transfer reagents in combination with secondary and tertiary alkyl iodides.
