Significance
The authors developed and optimized the selective and ultrafast cyclopolymerization reactions of 1,6-heptadiyne derivatives using a 3rd-generation Grubbs catalyst. It is remarkable that the controlled molecular weights and the narrow PDIs were achieved for the highly dendronized polymers as well.
