Significance
In this paper, the authors report an efficient copper-catalyzed asymmetric dual Michael reaction for the construction of multiple contiguous acyclic stereogenic centers in the products with high diastereo- and enantioselectivity. All the reactions were carried out in a 0.5 mmol scale. The protocol allows efficient access to the enantioenriched pyrrolidines with multiple stereocenters.
