The authors regret that they have to withdraw this paper. Despite several attempts with different students, they are unable to repeat the experiments reported in this paper for the conversion of dienones to a Nazarov product using PEDOT. They have been unable to reproduce the experiments that heated dienones with PEDOT, despite using different batches of both electrochemically polymerized PEDOT and ferric chloride polymerized PEDOT. They observed decomposition of the dienone or no reaction. In no instance they did observe the Nazarov product.
