Facile Solid-Phase Synthesis of the WAGV-Tetrapeptide Front of the Cyclopeptides Segetalin A and B Terminated by Catechol Moieties and Formation of a Metalla-cyclopeptide

Abstract

A WAGV-bridged dicatechol ligand is prepared by solid phase synthesis and is used to form a metalla-cyclopeptide, which contains the bioactive part of the naturally occurring segetalins A and B.
