Significance
The Suzuki-Miyaura reaction is extensively used for the construction of the carbon frameworks in the synthesis of biologically active molecules. This work describes a new highly general, easy to prepare and handle, and stable catalyst for this process. High activity was observed for common substrates (TON over 10000). The reaction proceeds well for a broad variety of heteroaryl chlorides as well as for sterically hindered boronic acids.
