Significance

A simple and mild indium-mediated method for asymmetric allylations of N-sulfinyl imines is described. Excellent yields and diastereoselectivities can be achieved with a variety of N-sulfinyl imines with allyl bromide. Extension to the synthesis of d-allylglycine and chiral isoindo­linones is facile.
