ABSTRACT

Tension nose describes a picture of excess in nasal anatomy. Specifically, a tension nose has an overgrown quadrilateral cartilage in the sagittal plane. Whereas the prominent dorsum dominates the nasal anatomy, it may hide occult deficits in nasal tip projection. This article reviews our approach to nasal surgery for the tension nose, with a particular emphasis on tip projection.
