Visible, light-induced, high speed polymerization of alkyl methacrylate catalyzed by aluminum porphyrin gives a polymer with sharp molecular weight distribution in the presence of aluminum tris(2,6-diphenylphenoxide) as an efficient and selective activator of methacrylate carbonyls.
