Significance
Building upon previous work (Z. D. Aron, L. E. Overman Org. Lett. 2005, 7, 913), the authors report a highly enantioselective dynamic kinetic resolution via cationic aza-Cope rearrangement. This report provides a conceptually novel method for the resolution of racemic substrates and provides access to interesting azabicyclic scaffolds with angular substituents adjacent to nitrogen.
