Significance
Palladium nanoparticles supported by a DNA-binding protein from starved cells of a thermophilic bacterium (Pdnp/Te-Dps) catalyzed the homocoupling of arylboronic acids under aerobic conditions in water to afford the corresponding biaryls in up to 91% yield (14 examples). Potassium aryltrifluoroborates also underwent the homocoupling in up to 87% yield (5 examples).
