Significance
A mild Pd(OAc)2-catalyzed cross-coupling of indoles and substituted aryl siloxanes has been developed. Key reagents are Ag2O as an oxidant and TBAF as desilylating agent. Various substituted indoles afford the 2-arylated products in satisfactory to very good yields.
