Significance
The catalyst system CuS/Fe catalyzed the cross-coupling of aryl halides 1 with diaryl diselenides to give the corresponding aryl organoselenides 2 in up to 99% yield. For the formation of 2b, the catalyst was reused three times (1st run: 99% yield, 2nd run: 98% yield, 3rd run: 93% yield, 4th run: 87% yield).
