Efficient Cross-Coupling Using Pd-Phosphinous Acid Catalysts

Significance
In this work, several Pd-posphinous acids have been prepared and used as catalysts for the cross-coupling of aryl or acyl halides with organozinc compounds. Even sterically hindered substrates lead to excellent results. Also, acyl halides were converted into the corresponding ketones in up to 98% yield.
