Significance
In this paper, the authors have developed a new class of readily available, air-stable chiral phosphine-aminophosphine (PAP) ligands and their successful application to the enantioselective hydrogenation of various functionalized olefins. Excellent enantioselectivities have been achieved for most substrates examined, which demonstrated the high potential of these ligands in preparation of biologically interesting compounds.
