Significance
Two new types of homopolymers end-caped with cyclodextrin (P1) and ferrocene (P2) were synthesized. Mixing these polymers in water forms vesicles, which can be reversibly assembled and de-assembled simply by changing exerting voltage. Moreover, encapsulation and release of fluorescence molecules using the vesicles was demonstrated, showing the validity of this system.
