Pd-Catalyzed Coupling of Tetrafluoroethylene with Arylzinc Compounds

Significance

The first example of a palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling of perfluoroethylene with arylzinc compounds in the presence of lithium ­iodide is reported. The resulting α,β,β-trifluoro­styrene derivatives are obtained in moderate to good yields.
