Significance

Knochel and co-workers described a new iron-mediated C(sp²)-C(sp³) coupling of 2-iodocycloalcohol derivatives with aryl Grignard reagents. This stereoconvergent reaction affords the thermodynamically more stable arylated pro­ducts.
