Significance
Chiral N-alkyl-C 1-tetrahydro-1,1′-bisisoquinolines are promising ligands due to their tunable bite angle through the substituent on the sp³ nitrogen. In this paper, the authors developed an effective copper catalyst for the asymmetric Henry reaction using the C 1-tetrahydro-1,1′-bisisoquinoline ligand.
