Significance

Asymmetric allylic amination has attracted attention recently with high regio- and enantioselectivity using various electron-poor ligands. This work demonstrates the utility of this type of system in the synthesis of 2,5-disubstituted 3,4-dehydropyrroles with high enantio- and dia­stereoselectivities using a chiral iridium complex.
