Significance

The development of a new silver phosphite catalyzed enantioselective O-nitroso aldol reaction is reported. The readily prepared di­silanyl enol ethers are employed as versatile nucleophiles for this transformation to achive the desired products in moderate to excellent yields and high enantioselectivities.
