Significance
A recyclable polymeric palladium complex (1-Pd) was prepared from a polymer-supported hindered alkyl phosphine ligand 1 with [PdCl2(η³-C3H5)]2. The complex catalyzed the Buchwald-Hartwig reaction of aryl halides 2 with diphenylamine (3a) in water to afford the corresponding triarylamines 4 in up to 96% yield (eq. 1).
