Significance
This work described a highly efficient synthesis of adjacent chiral quaternary and tertiary carbon stereocenters. The reaction cascade consists of decarboxylative generation of palladium enolate, stereoselective conjugate alkylation of enolate by activated Michael acceptors, and final reductive allylation.
